Celebrate your special day with friends and family on the grounds of Bezalel Gables, a beautiful Queen Anne Victorian home outside Chatham, New York.
It’s the perfect place for a country wedding: an upstate paradise that comes complete with a meandering stream, an original red barn and stable, acres of old growth maple trees, cornfields that wave in the distance, fireflies that dart around at dusk and spectacularly beautiful sunsets that give way to a nightly blanket of millions of stars.
The house itself, built in 1873 by New York State Senator, Henry S. Ambler, has been lovingly restored and comes complete with three-quarter wraparound porch, original marble fireplaces, grand piano in the Music Room, hand-blocked Victorian wallpapers and alabaster light fixtures.
Bezalel Gables is a convenient two-hour-and-fifteen-minute trip by car from New York or Boston (driving directions may be found under Contact Us).
Amtrak service is also available to Hudson, New York (20 minutes from Bezalel Gables) from New York’s Penn Station.
Please note: If you would like to visit us and experience the beauty of Bezalel Gables in person, we would be delighted to meet with you. Property tours/visits are by appointment only and may be arranged by calling 518-392-0474. |
